World Earth Day (April 22)

To celebrate this day, we have joined the so-called “Earth Festival”, an initiative that arises from the deepest roots of a common past, convened by the MesoAmeri-Kaab Network: this is a Mesoamerican platform of more than 30 social production organizations of habitat and sustainable housing. The invitation is to carry out a symbolic act during this day in gratitude for the earth, simultaneously in 6 countries of Mesoamerica. “The Earth Festival is a space of convergence where diversity makes it possible to build an alternative living model that is imposed by the declining economic model and its social, cultural and environmental impacts.” (Earth Festival, 2019)
